Come To A Public Hearing on Sewer Rate Hikes

Local union stories | Society: LocalThe Holyoke Department of Public Works (“DPW”) has approved raising sewer rates from $1.95 to $3.55 per thousand gallons (an initial 82% rate increase). However, the rate hike needs the approval of the City Council. The DPW plans to increase sewer rates to $5.50 per thousand gallons (a 181% total increase).
